We are nearing the end of August and we just returned from a great pet industry trade show at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Trade shows are important to our team at The Pet Beastro. It allows us to see new pet products, talk with manufacturers, make decisions about product selection, catch up with friends in the industry, and really work to bring in the best pet food and products that fit our Beastro Promise.

Viva Las Vegas! We are nearing the end of August and we just returned from a great pet industry trade show at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. While RawFest was happening at the store, we snuck away to Las Vegas for the event. Trade shows are important to our team at The Pet Beastro. It allows us to see new pet products, talk with manufacturers, make decisions about product selection, catch up with friends in the industry, and really work to bring in the best pet food and products that fit our Beastro Promise.

SuperZoo Pet Industry Trade Show

We spent three days, walking many miles, smiling, connecting, and finding some awesome new car and dog products that will be coming to the store soon! Every selection that we made was based on customer requests, filling a pet product category that needs more options, and just new innovative items that are found to be high quality or unique.

2020 was an unprecedented year for all of us as the trade shows were canceled or went virtual. We were thrilled to be able to make the trip and see the trade show products and staff in person. Virtual trade shows got us by but it definitely isn't the same as in-person meet & greets. Although some important vendors canceled their appearance for the 2021 SuperZoo show, there were many that committed and showed up with their entire product lines. It was also Jennifer's first major trade show. If you happen to catch her in the store, ask her about the size of the show. It’s hard to understand the massiveness unless you experience it for yourself. As for Las Vegas, everything looks like a 10-minute walk but it’s so much further away than you expect!

New Pet Products Are Coming

I put together a quick list of products that we have on our line-up or are considering. Some products are already ordered and we have confirmed shipment!

• Scout & Zoey’s (ordered) – Great freeze-dried options in different, unique proteins. We are excited for your pup to try out the trout heads and tripe bones.
• Mutt Gut (ordered) – This supplement is specific for leaky gut and dogs needing immune system support. Cat items coming soon.
• Project Sudz (ordered) – This organic soap, shampoo, and home sprays is for everyone in the home! No plastic packaging, no GMO’s, clean, earth-friendly product fits perfectly for our customer's needs.
• Bonne Et Filou (ordered) – These are French-inspired luxury macaroon dog treats that are great for gifts or fun events such as birthday parties with your pups. They look good enough to eat (heck, we even tried one too!).
• Interactive Bowls (ordered) - Great alternative for your smart pups. But also great for beginners who are just learning how to use interactive feeders. Plus you can increase the difficulty levels.
• Patchwork Pets (ordered) - I had been eyeing this line for some time now. We have retailer friends who love this line of toys. We ordered everyday toys as well as holiday items!
• West Paw Designs (ordered) – New line of recycled toys and food bowls made from sea plastic. West Paw has outdone themselves on this new concept of recycled products. All the same great features but super Earth-friendly! 
• Max & Chloe’s (ordered and in-stock) - Another great brand with unique bandana options that have a clip (instead of hand tie) as well as bow options for the princess(es) in your life. 
• Natural Dog Company (ordered) – One of our favorite chew companies! We have new items arriving on our next order as many of our dogs that are heavy chewers need new and creative options to keep them busy!
• Pet Shoppe (ordered) - We love their seasonal options and they came through with creative pet toys for fall, Halloween, and Christmas holidays. (It’s never too soon for Christmas). 
• Black Gold Styptic powder (ordered) - We often are asked for the styptic stop bleed powder for dogs' toenails for trimming. This is an all-natural herbal option that we are excited to be able to carry. 
• Bocce’s (ordered) - Always innovative and coming up with new flavors and options which now include kitty treats! Yay! The cat treats have a few more months before they are available.
• PLAY (ordered) – An all-time Pet Beastro favorite. They have outdone themselves this year by launching new toy sets - Bloomin’ Buddies & Snack Attack - for dogs. For the kitties, you will see two new kicker toys - Shrimp Purrito & Tuna Baguette - filled with organic catnip for hours of fun.

• Stashios - Treat wrap-ups for dogs

Over the next few weeks, the new cat and dog food, treats, toys and supplies will start arriving. Check-in often as we are super excited to show you these new pet products. Once in stock and added to our database, they will be available for online purchase as well. You may even see some of the items pop up with our upcoming holiday Daily Deals.
