Our Visit to Raw Bistro's Minnesota Facility

It's no secret around here what my favorite raw dog food company is - Raw Bistro! In May, Jill and I were lucky enough to travel out to Minnesota to see their facility and take a tour with Justin Magnuson (VP of sales) and Bob Lau (Production Manager).

Raw Bistro's facility is set in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown Cannon Falls, MN. They are close to all of their meat, fruit, and vegetable farms and as such, are able to keep all of their supplies on-hand.

Their manufacturing facility was amazing! It was immaculately clean and organized with everything taking place in specific rooms. They have precise protocols for everything, starting with only producing one protein per day so there is no risk of cross-contamination or protein mixing. They even make sure that once treats are in the dehydrator area, they are never pushed back through to where raw production takes place.

Their food is never thawed -- it is tempered out in designated refrigerators. I have never before been impressed with a freezer until I saw the freezer at Raw Bistro (and I thought OUR freezer was big!). Additionally, the whole manufacturing facility is set to an exact temperature by an internal cooling system.

I am so excited to see the growth of Raw Bistro, with their dedication to quality and their loyalty to using local ingredients. The company's integrity and values are equivalent to those we follow here at The Pet Beastro and we are proud to be able to offer this food to our customers!
