It's our promise to you and the driving force behind every decision we make at The Pet Beastro.In addition to working tirelessly to scout out and research the highest quality pet foods, treats, supplements, and toys for pet owners, The Pet Beastro and owner Dr. Jill Tack strive to support local organizations that work for the betterment of the animals we all love so dearly.

It's what we work for every day here at The Pet Beastro and it is the driving force behind every decision we make - from determining what products we put on our shelves to what local partners we support in their efforts to strive to do the same. 

Supporting The Good Work Of Others

Since Dr. Jill Tack started The Pet Beastro 14 years ago in June 2005, her focus has always been the quality care of animals. In addition to working tirelessly to scout out and research the highest quality pet foods, treats, supplements, and toys for pet owners, she strives to support local organizations that work  for the betterment of the animals we all love so dearly.

Together We Raised Over $25,000 

In 2018 alone, The Pet Beastro, along with the support of our great family of customers and pet food partners, contributed and raised over $25,000 in monetary and product donations for local rescues. Organizations like:

• Detroit Bulldog Rescue
• Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan
• Furget Us Not Rescue
• Detroit Dog Rescue
• K9 Stray Rescue League
• NBS
• Ferndale Cat Shelter
• Local area police K-9 Units
• Sponsor of Michigan’s First Police Cat “Pawficfer Donut” of Troy, MI

From monthly matches to customer contributions via our rescue prize wheel, sponsoring local K-9 police units, providing gift basket for local fundraisers, hosting Giving Tuesday holiday drives, and scheduling various events throughout the year to raise donations for charities, giving back is built into our way of business.

And our customers deserve a special shout out as well through their support of the following:

• Donating food, toys, and care items during our holiday drives.
• Donating the credit they receive for shopping with our reusable Beastro Bag to our selected rescue of the month rather than using it themselves.
• Sharing our seasonal catalogs on Facebook and earning local rescues $1 per share.

As with most things in life, it truly does take a village. We're proud to give back to our community and proud to be able to support the generosity of our customers who step up and do their part to pay it forward.
