Meet Catherine, one of our amazing natural pet food specialists and local delivery van driver. She started with the team back in September of 2020.
The Pet Beastro Perks
She has Learned A Lot About Pet Health & Nutrition
Cat has learned a lot about the quality of food she fed her pets was defiantly surprising. She loves learning new things and she finds any new information so beneficial. She believes everyone at The Pet Beastro is just so educated on nutrition and the overall well-being of animals. As she has been on her pet wellness and nutrition journey, she has received nothing but encouragement and it made the perfect environment to learn not only how to be a good worker but how a good business is run. She has learned so much about pet nutrition that she would never have never known if she didn't work at The Pet Beastro. Her pet education has included:
- How to feed a pet a raw balanced diet,
- how different supplements help dogs and cats,
- and how nutrition can help certain health conditions.
A big part of what she loves about working here is that the team cares so much about our customers and their furkids.
Her Favorite Pet Beastro Product
Her favorite product is Steve's Raw Food because that is what she feeds her furbabies and they go crazy for it but, honestly, everything The Pet Beastro carries is such good quality and stuff you won't really see anywhere else. She truly loves everything in the store.
Her Best Pet Advice
Her advice for a pet parent is to treat your fur baby like you would your child, spoil them with love, and be considerate of what they are going through as well. Sometimes you need to just step back and get to the root of any emotional or physical issue. And proper nutrition can be a great place to start.
Cat’s Furbabies
Catherine has a 5-year-old German Shepherd named Luna. She always seems to have a smile on her face. She can be a bundle of energy and would play fetch all day if she could. Her favorite toy is her red ball. She has plenty of toys but time after time goes for her red ball over anything else. Luna was a foster failure. Cat worried that Luna would think she was going back to the shelter when Cat was taking her to get adopted but she was very calm and happy the whole time and I think she knew she was getting adopted and that she found her home.
In Her Freetime
In Catherine’s free time, she makes and sells candles on Etsy. They are natural soy wax candles with clean fragrance oils. If you're interested feel free to ask her about it. She also does 3d character animation. She continues to take online classes and workshops with professional animators. She enjoys art. Her main medium is acrylic paint. Lastly, she enjoys just relaxing at home with her two fur favorites.
