We're lucky here at The Pet Beastro - not only do we get to spend every day supporting the good health of animals but we also get to spend them with people we care about too! Enjoy this moment with Kaitlyn as she shares more about why she's a perfect fit for the Beastro team!

How did you first hear of The Pet Beastro?

I first heard about the Pet Beastro when I moved to Ferndale and was looking for a new pet store that sold raw dog food.

What is your educational background?

I am currently working toward becoming a certified Pet Nutritionist.

Do you have animals? If so, what are their names, ages and breeds?

Yes, I have Shay, a German Shepherd/ Lab mix, who is roughly 10 years old. My Pit Bull mix, Polly, is a three-year-old. I also have Oaklee, my two-year old French Bulldog.

Why did/do you want to work for The Pet Beastro?

I love being able to help people learn about pet nutrition and help them better the lives of their pets. I feel the Pet Beastro is a store that stands by my beliefs so I wanted to work here!

How is working at The Pet Beastro different than other places you have worked?

The Pet Beastro is a store where each employee actually cares and wants the best for each pet. They will do what it takes to make each customer have a good experience and want to come back. A lot of the clients also make sure we know how much they appreciate us all and how much of a help we are to them. I felt immediately welcomed when I joined the team by everyone. Also, the products offered are all of the best quality and actually healthy for your pet.

What is your favorite product at The Pet Beastro?

The variety of supplements! Most people don’t realize that there are a lot of natural options compared to what your vet will prescribe you. There is almost always something natural that will work just as well, often better than a prescription.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy being with my three dogs, and my friends and family. I love traveling, outdoor activities in the summer, and anything that is adventurous - I am definitely a daredevil!

Is there anything else that our customers should know about you?

I have worked with animals the past nine years, a little bit of everything from doggie day camp and boarding to training and grooming as I worked at two animal rescues. Two of my dogs were unadoptable rescues that have been very challenging to own but that just makes them that much better.
