Feeding Guidelines: The suggested daily servings are only guidelines. Individual requirements may vary depending upon age, breed, weight, activity level and metabolism.
**Based on a standard 8-fluid ounce measuring cup
Rehydrating: We recommend rehydrating by adding 1/2 cup of warm water per cup. If feeding dry, make sure your dog drinks plenty of water at mealtime.
For Puppies, Pregnant or Nursing Dogs: Puppies and pregnant dogs may require more than double the adult feeding amounts. Nursing dogs should be allowed to eat at will.
Feeding Transition Guidelines: When switching dog food, some dogs may benefit by gradually transitioning over 7 to 10 days. Start with 25% of the new food mixed with 75% of the previous food and gradually increase the new while decreasing the previous until the transition is complete. The Daily Feeding Guide is a good starting point for daily feeding suggestions. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the daily feeding amount by the number of times fed per day.
Safety: Wash hands after preparing and clean your dog’s dish after each feeding.
